"YOU HAVE MESSAGES"
If you need to know, it will be on a sign. And you will need to know. Like the lane is ending, for example. That's how the system works, easy and convenient. LOOK FOR YELLOW, BLACK AND WHITE When you see one of the colors, look at the sign and read what it says. Do not turn left, right or change lanes until you have looked for the color signs first!
At all crossroads and side roads, there must be a red sign or signal to tell drivers who must wait for the other. If there are no red signs or signals, then the law is: "The car on the left will wait for you, and you will wait for the car on the right." The red signs are also shaped as octagons and triangles so you know if the driver on the right has a red sign or not. When you see a car coming from the side (cross-road,) look to see if the car has a triangle or an octagon. That's how you know who is supposed to wait and who is supposed to go first. The stop and yield signs mean the same thing, the only difference is that at the stop sign you must stop before you look to see if it is safe to go.
Click here for more information on stop and yield signs WHOEVER HAS THE TRIANGLE OR OCTAGON MUST WAIT FOR WHOEVER DOESN'T HAVE A TRIANGLE OR OCTAGON! Simple! If there are no triangles or octagons for anyone (they cost money, and the government can't afford, the tax-payers can't afford to put them at each and every intersection, like in residential areas, for example,) then you wait for the person coming from your right, and go first before the person coming from your left (but be careful in case the person coming from your left doesn't stop for you like they are supposed to!) Remember, the rule can't be "whoever got there first," because the right/left rule is for when you get there at the same time, and we could argue all day about who got there first, and we might even start to compete to be first (which would definitely not be safe!) So the rule is, if nobody has a octoagon or triangle, then left waits for right. SIMPLE & EASY!

Examples:
When you are looking for a street, look for the green signs. But look for the sign of the street that is before the one you want. That way you are ready. Remember also to also look for all of the yellow, black, white and red signs, and the triangles and octagons for the other cars when you get to the intersection. Don't forget that pedestrians have the right to cross first at all intersections where there are green signs! (In some places the road signs are different colors, but the rules are the same! And at all times, read the orange signs. You might need to make a lane change or swerve or take a detour or stop for trucks or whatever the signs says.
